The Guru is YOU!

About eighteen months back, I posted regarding the matter of masters - http://totalhealthyoga.blogspot.com/2007/09/are-you-my-guru.html. Here again I'd get a kick out of the chance to share a couple of contemplations regarding the matter.

As Jesus stated, "The kingdom of Heaven is inside."

There is a Zen saying: "In the event that you meet the Buddha out and about, execute him!" The thought here is that Buddha isn't something or somebody outside of you. Buddha must be found inside, so something outside of you should be an impostor.

Another astute man, Lama Surya Das expressed, "We can simply gain from others, yet at long last each of us can just put stock in our own instinctive heart." This is critical, particularly as understudies of yoga. Indeed, even arrangement that is ideal for one individual, may not suit another. We each need to choose for ourselves what is best- - what is valid for us. This takes fearlessness, train, and trust in our identity.

When you question what you trust, you inevitably come to see you're the illumination you've been looking for." Like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz, the appropriate responses are as of now inside you.
